If you have a PC, Visual Analyser is good and it is free! http://www.sillanumsoft.org/ At the last ASIA get together I talk to Brian about the tools he uses and it is expensive. He thought the higher quality was important, but he did not convince me. He liked what he had and it was important to the work that he did.

And the outrageously over priced orange .0047uF (etc.) vanity capacitors make electronic devices sound better than green, brown or yellow ones --- splain that to me?

I am with you John if the software is properly written its hard or impossible for proprietary devices to out perform a modern PC.
