Notches for braces, then gluing on the top.

The color theme I'm considering - nice eir fb, hog neck, bloodwood headplate, bridge and end wedge, mahogany bindings. I'm a little concerned about the reds in the bloodwood, but with some finish on it it should harmonize ok with the other woods.
Now I gotta buy 8 tuners!

Can anyone recommend a set of tuners for this - either 4 on a plate or 8 individual? Just a set that stays in tune, nothing fancy.
edit: found some grover sta-tites for mandolin on ebay at $29.95 free shipping.

Dave, you are a building machine on this one. Very cool.

I've had a stretch here without any students, just making hay while the sun shines.
Speaking of which, the forecast for southern Oregon today is 111 degrees.

Have you looked at mandolin tuners?
