BTW, I am definitely convinced Zpoxy is the ultimate filler. Take a look at the pores of the back of the head. It just excactly does what you would like a filler does. I guess Ken agrees, don't you Ken?

That is correct. BTW, if I have not mentioned it, I did get verification for General Finishes that Enduro WB Varnish is compatible with Zpoxy another plus.I guess Ken agrees, don't you Ken?

Does that stuff work on your first attempt? I've been watching youtube vids of the process and gads - some of the pro's have a three-day process for getting it right on their builds.
I wouldn't mind trying it - I have some in the shop - but don't know if I have a big learning curve or not. Your experience?

The process includes about three applications depending on the size of the pores and the epoxy takes a bit to cure. It is not a huge learning cure if you watched the videos. The product is forgiving in the sense that you are going to be sanding most of it off. After the first application the amount used is very small. If you have some it is worth trying. Also be aware that it does have an amber tint. I like the tint not unlike shellac,Dave Bagwill wrote:Does that stuff work on your first attempt? I've done well with just two coats.
If you can heat the object drying time can be shortened.
It takes about 10 minutes to apply sands back easily and takes another few minutes. And it works!!!
I totally understand the having to have and hating wait time --- but pore filling is what it is. Even with the other methods there are certain things we must do. My point is that the pore filling and coating activities demand a time management mind set, its something that needs special attention and the "application" is simply part of the "shop time schedule." The waiting time can be a non existent entity and not part of the schedule -- If I/we simply go about the day doing other necessary things. In anticipation for a flower to blossom we still go about our business -- right?
Not preaching, but that's how I've learned to deal with finishing in general.
