I've no opinion about the bracing, but their appoach of the soundhole is interesting.
A lot of bigger shaped guitars have a body resonance that affects the G note on the low E string.
They have a G with less sustain. I made a Jumbo with a bigger soundhole. 110 mm/4,33".
This guitar does not have that troubled G. The body resonance is about a G#. But the fretted G# is fine too.
Maybe it is a coincidence, but it is worth to experiment with.
