I have one of those lights over my computer desk in the shop and it never occurred to me to use it that way until now. Thanks Dave, the "light" finally went on!

Great idea. And I think I have the skills to be able to build such a contraption!

Here are my written plans:
make a box of the right dimensions;, no bottom is necessary
one way or another, make a slit down the center of the box about 1/4" wide
put a light in it
use it
I know, I coulda made a million bucks with those plans, but you guys/gals are worth it, dammit!! :-)

Hey Dave:
What did Brian Burns give you with respect to the torrefied top? Data? Conclusions you draw?
