Which little plane is most suitable for profiling braces?

Ya Kevin, a good friend of mine made me one of those. But I have the same little problem as Dave. The adjustment is very sensitive. And over-tightening the little lockwood would maybe damaging the work of art of the toolmaker. So I keep that one for the memory of some good time I had with him.

I don't know how they do it, but the miniature planes they make are very good.

That miniature block plane would probably make a great brace planer.

Ken, I bought one of those HF sets, trued them up, sharpened the blades, and they work okay. Amazing that people are making money along the way to HF for that price.
