Hey Brian, a second build? Really? It shows your skills. I showed the pics to my wife Anja. (She has a lot of guitars seen coming by.) Her comment was "Wow, that is beautiful work!". So compliments of the two of us.

I love your rope binding, I have a few plans to make myself some Larson style purfling.

I like the 'Larson' purfling too. Now I know it's name. Funny thing, originally I planned to use it on this guitar. I bought red & green TransTint but wasn't satisfied with my initial attempt at dying some holly. I called it my poorman's abalone. On the rope purfling, I did tint the Titebond glue black. I think it gives it better definition.

Incredible work - you've really raised the bar, not only for second builds. This has a lot of personal character.
