It looks and sounds beautiful Herman!

Since you are from The Netherlands I'm curious about the black walnut - is that Eastern Black Walnut, Juglans nigra, like we have in the U.S. or is it some other species? Did you get it locally or did you import the wood?

Jay, the back and sides came from western Canada. It is from the Juglans Nigra you mention.
