Very, very nice work and lovely wood and aesthetics.

Can you share the topwood selection with us, and the finish/tint/etc. that was applied to the whole guitar?

OK here are the details.
Body size is close to OM
Back and sides figured Bubinga
Top is Western Red Cedar
Bracing is red spruce
Rosette is spalted Birch and Abalone
Ebony binding
Laskin style armrest
Sound hole is a little oversized - I think 1 1/4 in.
Neck is 3 pc. Mahogany
Headstock Veneer is ebony
Fingerboard is ebony
Bridge is African Blackwood
Tuning machines are Gotoh minis

A lot of people refer to it as African Rosewood although it's not a true Rosewood at all. I too have heard that it is an up and coming tonewood with lovely tonal characteristics.

I too want to try Bubinga, and as stated, it seems very reasonably priced in the plain grain state.
I've heard Tony that Bubinga guitars rival BRW at 1/20th the cost!!!!
