Bob Dill's guitars
Re: Bob Dill's guitars
Thanks for all the comments, I'll try to document the projects better in the future. Before this forum, friends and players would just stop by the shop a see what was going on, it's gotten a little bigger than I expected. Since I don't have to do this to make a living, it allows me to try all sorts of different things with the guitars. I've started using unidirectional carbon fiber under the fingerboard plus carbon fiber rods in the neck, also on the back side of the bridge plate. I've played around with braces, carbon fiber sandwich and rosewood sandwich with red spruce but it's hard to tell if it makes any difference when there's so many other things going on in a guitar It's just nice to go out in the shop and do anything that you want, if you screw up, take what you've learned and move on to the next project. I'm looking forward to sharing with the forum some of my projects, more pics and text

Stunning guitars, Bob! I have sort of forgotten to cruise the gallery from time to time, and have missed some beauties!
So, my big brother was playing guitar and I figured I'd try it too.

A few more shots of recent completed guitars. I have six more that I haven't shot any photos of yet.
