The box is together, the fb is fretted and glued on, another day's work and we will be ready to finish - BUT I'm having the shop/barn roofed this week so the shop is unavailable. And Steve was gone for two weeks.

In a word, Yep, on hold but close. Steve is now deciding whether to spray nitro (he has a lot of experience spraying) or going with the hand-rubbed finish.

A few quick pix. Steve has done an outstanding job.
Eric, who is building a scratch ziricote/spruce guitar, had a nasty motorcycle accident but is ok and should be back next week.

Just catching up on posting a couple of pix earlier in the process.
A clamping pic; two pics of routing the binding channels top and bottom using the KMG table-top routing system - Steve took right to it. It's a great system.

Oh and speaking of Steve - he mentioned that he has a neighbor/friend who has a metal working setup in his home shop - I sent a picture of the stewmac circle/rosette cutting device - I already had the router base for the dremel - and Steve got some aluminum and the neighbor made the device for me and it is SWEET! The machining is fantastic, smooth and very professional.
They would not let me pay for it, dang!! :-)
Much appreciated.

Steve is filling a small binding gap; cutting the truss rod hole; and a pic of the neck bolted on.
