Those 3 - thumbs up or down?

Thanks
thumb down, I find it too messy and not necessary for any of those applications. I do use it for pearl inlays and repairs. I have tried it for rosettes but have stained two tops that way.

I've used Titebond and CA for bindings and prefer CA. The main reason is because I can get the fit right then wick the glue in. That's pretty much the only place I use it though, well that and inlay.

Yes, I use it for inlay too.

Just to be clear I do understand the concern regarding the stains we've mentioned -- it is a big deal we are talking about bright fluorescent yellow green! It is ugly and non-repairable

Generally its the capillary action of CA that make it very useful in situations were a very tight fit has been achieved, no need to pry the joint apart -- the CA will seek the void and create the microscopic glue line.

Seeing that CA is the adhesive of choice for the installation of button type pick-ups K&K, JJb etc. it would seem that sonically it makes sense to attach the top bracing with CA -- just stating a conversation.
