Bunya pine tops are about $50 a set AUD. The challenge is getting consistent quality. It is a good soundboard timber but I think King Billy Pine (another Australian tone wood) is better. Unfortunately King Billy is much harder to get, and therefore much more expensive.ken cierp wrote:Very nice! I installed an LR Baggs ibeam pickup in the guitar in that recording. It is one of my small body steel strings models (see pic below). The guitar was just plugged straight into Garageband and recorded. I added a little reverb in Garageband and that's it.ken cierp wrote:Sound samples are nice as well -- Mic, pick-up? modeler?
