Obviously, you do not have a cheesy sander.

Do you use the 10-20 grizzly for finishing off your top thickness and rosettes too. And how small can it get too. Do you just flip it around and around again. Im thinking of buying this machine. Any info would be great. Thanks

Without a "sled" or carrier board, this sander can only go to 1/8th. I use a carrier board/ sled to get to the thickness I want. I spin the top 180* to get the whole width to thickness. I use it for smoothing out rosettes.
However, I keep 60 grit paper on my machine, so you still need to sand the top with an RO sander or by hand to get it smooth. Keep that in mind when approaching your final thickness with the sander. Leave enough meat on there so you can still smooth it out. I still love this machine but if I had the money I would upgrade. I also don't have the space so....I guess I wouldnt upgrade!!

Tony when you use your carrier boardsled do you attach it to the piece being sanded with double sided tape or something else to keep it secure?
