I don't see any reason to fix this.
1)Nobody will ever know it is off by 3/16ths.
2)It will not affect any other aspect of the construction.
3)Nobody will ever know
4)Removing the sides could result in damage to the sides or the block
5) nobody will ever know.
6) It will not affect any other steps in the construction
7) NOBODY WILL EVER KNOW!!!!

My vote is to leave it alone and move on.

Actually I am not sure what the problem and subsequent other issues really are -- that's why I asked for a picture of the project itself. Tony and John ae correct if it does not need fixing don't fix it -- but if its something that will cause grief down the line than it needs to be addressed.

Based on the link he provided, it appears that he glued the tail block off center by a bit. If that is the case, I would leave it alone.
