Herman,

As a player first and a builder second, I make sure they know that I play all my gigs only with the guitars I make. I also tell them I have a 35 yr. old Martin D28 that is resting now as I have no need for it. I also use " I build for the tone". I have been a salesman all my life and Dave's Platonic approach works! I believe Dave has BS in BS.

Actually it's a BA, but close enough, Woody :-)

Sorry for spoiling the fun, but fill me in on the initials. What's a bs and a ba?

Two types of degrees from college - Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science. Also, having a BS (Bachelor of Science) in BS (Bull***t) was Woody being really clever. :-)

Aha, I see. These days we have these terms over here too. I my universitydays all was different. Holland is getting Americanized more and more. But I think it does not cure my pathetic need for good BS.

This is a great subject to ponder. I am going to go into a quiet corner for a few hours and re-read (for the 19th time) "What Confucius Said" by, well, by Confusius himself of course. The Chai is boiling on the stove, got to go...........
