Tony, my optivisor has LED lights which when turned on eliminate shadows. I’m glad I spent a few extra bucks for that option. I’m far sighted. I couldn’t find my butt with both hands without my glasses. The optivisor makes everything crystal clear.
Jack, I think the clovers look great. You should go for it. I'm just a beginner as far as inlays go but I really enjoy the process of installing them. I've done business with DePuale Supply also. They are very nice to do business with.
You do excellent work!! Definitely think you should add the clovers.

Too me some times less is better -- I'd vote no. $.02

How about position markers at the 12th fret?

Well, if you decide not to put them on the headstock you might also consider placing them on the bridge. I think they would look great either way and go well with your sound port.
I like the headstock position. They even out the abalone / MOP ratio.

I vote for no on the headstock, yes on the bridge wings. Should look swell.

I was thinking about the bridge wings like someone above mentioned, That may be where they end up. Thanks for all the help guys. I am not real happy with the headstock inlay as the allignment of some of the pieces is off a little even though I glued it down and traced around it. Hopefully on the next one I will get it right. Its not to noticable unless you are really up close. Thanks Jack.
