Kevin - do you glue the fb to the t-nuts?

Yes glued with the t nuts against the FB.

My FB sits tight on the top so very little screw tightening is needed. I hope to repeat this but clean it all up a bit. I started out with the extended neck block for support under the FB as in India this area on my guitars has been an issue over time...that sinking in of the extension. Hoping to correct that and figured I'd try the screw down while I was at it.

Dave I have not seen that one before. Pretty simple and no mortise and tenon.

I'm working on one now as weather permits.
It's the same joint used on early Taylors, and they have held up well over the years.
The circular boss, with a brass insert, is glued to the bottom of the fretboard and a screw from the inside pulls the fb to the body - that's Mottola's idea, not Taylor's.
