Thanks Lonnie. I may try the one finger pore fill!!
This next build I'm going to do the TO and then buff to a high gloss, maybe put the thing up for sale.

I'd like to see that. I''ve never seen one buffed out. I'd think you would need a good long cure time after you stop applying coats. I don't know a month or so probably. Being oil it could take a while. You probably know more then I do on the subject. I've always wanted to see one buffed out.

here ya go Lonnie...Tom is a master with TO...he shoots it with a finish gun and uses 2:1 up to 4:1 with mineral spirits...scroll through these and see what you think..

Questions? Tom is a nice guy...I'm sure he would be more than willing to answer and questions.

What is a 'finish' gun Ray? Does Tom use that for all his coats?

Oh I like them. Best but came on tried to run a commercial. Thought I saw finished fretboards. I do love a finished fretboard. I think it just adds that much more to the guitar. I've thought of spraying TO just to speed up the process. Waiting on the weather to warm up. Bought a nice EIR back and sides. Have a nice Western red Cedar top. Going to marry them up on a classical build. Might do the spray thingy.

Last account I had he did use it for the whole finish process...I believe he got it at HF...guess I used the wrong term...but here's the gun...I got mine for $9 on sale...hard to beat.
