Looks great John! I love the first coats of filler/ finish. You finally get to see what it will look like!
It occurs to me that each time you cut out a logo, you wind up with two of them. Do you use the "negative"(as in photography negative) version of the logo? I think it would look really, REALLY cool if you used the white moon version on the front of the headstock, and the black moon version on the back of the headstock, in the same spot, so that flipping the head stock results in the logo "flipping" from a positive to a negative version. Know what I mean?

Tony, an interesting idea. So far I have given the white hawk away as a souvenir with the guitar. (Only to my kids and my nieces)

You have to do it. It will look very cool. Or terrible. I am not good at judging such things! LOL

Maybe next time Tony, I would have to make a black moon to highlight the while hawk.

I am not sure that the more boring bobinga sides work with the fancy waterfall back. The color looks OK, but what can one do; I cracked one of the fancy sides when I started many months ago so I grabbed another set of bobinga sides that I had. It is noticeable enough that someone could think I made it as a design choice, albeit a poor one. I am sure my niece will like it and the overall look of the guitar is going to be good.

Here are some pictures after 2 regular coats of zpoxy sanded back and a thinned (10% added alcohol) zpoxy wiped on with a cotton rag.
