I'm curious to hear why you are going with a Lowden style bracing on this baritone.Herman wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 3:51 pm About the bracing: I use no different thickness for my baritones than for a regular steelstring guitar.
This is what I am working on at the moment, and the bracing is a Lowden style:

Well.... I made two before. One with a Martin style, and one with a Lowden style. The second sounded far better.
Apart from that, I am a big fan of the Lowden sound.
Tony McManus (look him up) played on this baritone in a casual setting:

Would you by any chance have plans for Lowden bracing on a Jumbo? I would give this a try.Herman wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 3:51 pm About the bracing: I use no different thickness for my baritones than for a regular steelstring guitar.

So here is my take on Lowden bracing for this build. The box is pretty much ready to be closed now and any comments are welcome!

Gorgeous work. I have never used Lowden bracing but it looks like a great bracing pattern.
Re: Baritone multi scale
Two things:
-IMO it is better for a baritone to keep the tone bars feathered to the rim and not tuck into.
-The finger braces look quite massive on the picture. You'll be safe when they are a bit tinier. Gives more mobility across the grain.
For the rest it looks great
