I own an Ampeg Reverb Rocket (bought it new 1964) it of course has the spring reverb -- if you bump into it, people a 100 yards away will jump!! What a horrible sound -- but there is nothing solid state that I've heard so far that comes close to matching the sound. Where did you get your plan?

I made the general guitar gadgets here;

I don't really know how to build from the schematic so I tried to hole-board a version of the PCB layout. Didn't know which way I was looking at the PCB picture ie. above or below so built it flipped left to right. Had a good amount of help from diystompboxes.com.

It's not bad, don't think it's the beast circuit design. Maybe when I have the time and cash I'll build a tube based fender reverb copy. Yeah, sounds plenty cooler than the digital versions although it's pretty quirky.

Just looked up your ampeg, sounds very cool, I'm doing an 18w bluesbreaker style amp kit build in the next couple of weeks for my sister which should be fun.

I bought one of these new a number of years ago 2003 maybe - tubes mounted on the chassis where they belong, power out for external speakers, great clean tone and warmth for acoustic playing with the tubes nice and saturated but not overdriven.

Hi Guys, bit of a guitar construction holiday while I made my 18w marshall style amp kit. Sounds really, really good, my kind of thing, only two controls, tone and volume. Best to turn them both up. In less satisfying news I dampened my kerfing and pegged it around the outside of the rim but when I came to transfering it to the inside of the rim I still manage to crack it once and fully snap another piece off! Does this need any attention or do I just bung it back in place and glue it up? Thanks all.

Nothing to do with structure -- seams/joints are fine, just make them look tight and neat.

Thanks Ken, back kerfing all glued and 1mm or so proud all round. Sorry if I'm being dumb but can you link me to the instructions for contouring the back and trimming the neck and tail blocks when using the multimould? Thanks.
