Festool sander as a thickness sander?

The folks here are some of the most helpful people I've come across. Always willing to give information and help when needed. I couldn't possibly just walk by such a find after reading this thread. A week ago I wouldn't have given it a second look. And certainly wouldn't have felt right taking somebody to the bank for it.

Does anyone know if replacement cutters will still be available?

Stew Mac has them but I don't know for how long.
