Yes -- chances are it will stick to the surface and a matter of fact that has happened when we used them on hard wood floors -- kinda pis*** us off -- had to scrape off the pattern left behind. We have one on our Oak dining room table under the table clothe so far so good, I think the wax has prevented any incident.

Thanks for posting the photos Dave. First pic shows the end graph. I'm using a fine green strip of wood as an accent in many places, also visible in the purfling and sound hole trim in the next pic. 3rd. Shot shows the inlay patch I did where I sanded through the backstrip. Last shot, I'm fitting the neck. Lots of fine adjustments and flossing to get the centerline and fretboard pitch correct. I'll cut the fretboard to size soon and start installing frets. Feels like real progress seeing the neck bolted on. Still enjoying the build emmencly.

Yeah it's something when you first get the neck fitted and it feels like it's really coming together. Good work. It's looking nice. What are you thinking for the finish?

Thanks John. I'm leaning towards Tru-Oil. From all I've read is looks doable for a first timer. I've seen a couple on this forum and I really like the subtle richness it brings to the wood. I would be interested in hearing more from those who have used it.
