That looks like a really neat set up! What is the front contact plate made from? It looks like it has developed some scratches but I am assuming that there are no corresponding marks on the soundboard?

No scratches, rides smoothly. Only reason I modified it is because my hand is not as steady as it used to be. Got the neck set today, it was nearly dead on. Angle was perfect, off center about 1/32 and had to drop elevation slightly. Took about 15 minutes. Then I glued up the FB.

More progress after 3 weeks off for 2 weddings and a week vacation. The binding is dark brown tortoise.

It sure does look good. De-flattening the bottom has done wonders for the outline.
