I was surprised to notice that this topic has gotten over 1,000 views, which is way more than most topics.
Implies that cheek-dishing is a 'thing' that concerns builders?

This little rasp on the dremel is, for me, the final answer to the question: what is the easiest way to dish? YMMV, but I'm happy with it.

Any rational and straightforward resolution to a PITA task like this one gets my praise.

Just as a FYI - this is a pic of one of the early Taylor butt-joints; they are still a good joint and I think I will use one on the next git. Lutaio Mattolo - not sure of that spelling - also recommends this joint as being a good one.
