The "Martini" HD28V is 98% done and it was a slow but very enjoyable build. There's a little extra detail where the bindings meet at the bottom of the guitar. I'm happy with the way the nitro buffed out. I still have to have my daughter paint some artwork on the headstock before I can drill the peg holes but basically other than the final setup that will be the last step to be completed.

That's a real nice little touch at the endwedge! Was it troublesome at all?

No trouble at all. I just made up & CA/d the rosewood triangles on before fitting & gluing on the bindings. Even I can sometimes figure out simple things (lol). I also tried inlays on the neck for the first time and they turned out flawlessly. Then again they were only diamonds. I'll add a picture of the neck after I get it back from my daughter (artist). Here's what's going on the headstock:
