Just an update. Got back from seeing the specialist. We like him. The Patella is broken in two with a 3mm separation. Going into surgery tomorrow at 8:30. She's in fine spirits taking her to get her nails done at 4pm. Can't have surgery without cat nails. I had open heart surgery and never once thought of my fingernails. But that's just me I guess

Ken thank you for your kind words. She's probably afraid of the surgery but hope she's fine.

The surgery was a success. She's home sitting in her recliner. I'm step and Fetchit but that's ok. She sure took care of me when I had my heart procedures. So I'll do my best to make her recovery as painless and fun for her as I possibly can. I want to thank the well wishers for sending the good vibes. You guys are great and I'm proud to be a member of this forum. Many thanks

Yah! Glad your wife is home and appears to be doing well. Now hopefully a speedy and trouble free recovery for her.
