Yeah...that's some real nice wood you got there. The color looks great on the sound board. You can't really tell it's there on the back. Looks great to me!

Thanks for the compliments Guys! I am currently letting it sit for another week and then will polish it out and get the final assembly done. Will post some pictures when its done, Jack.

Number 2 is finally done. Overall I'm satisfied with the way it came out. Learning a little more with each one. Made some minor mistakes here and there. Finish is Behlens lacquer 12 coats back and sides/ 8 coats on top, sprayed on with automotive spray gun (Sata Mini jet HVLP). I tinted the second coat on the top with some orange and amber (mixed together) Trans tint dyes. Pictures below:

Very nice. It looks like a neck right through the body from the back. Very creative. Thanx for sharing
