The one on the front will show a tiny bit around the bushing bit for the tuners but I think it'll be fine with filler under the black finish.

I assume I don't need to obsess over the sanding stick to level the frets being absolutely and perfectly flat and a piece of scrap ply with paper glued to it will do?

Ah -- yes you do, perfectly flat is the whole idea

I taped some sandpaper to the mdf fingerboard simulator piece from the kit, worked pretty neatly. FRets all levelled, crowned and rubbed down to 600 but no paste so not gleaming but pretty nice looking. Not too far to go now!

ok, tuner hole chips filled, nearly there but don't rush and get over excited Mike.

I follow all the success kit instructions here;

http://kennethmichaelguitars.com/kitmanual.html

plus the bridge setter instructions including drilling locating holes, then mask the Bridge, then apply finish, then glue the bridge using the bridge clamp. Sound right to you?

As I posted on the other thread my neck angle is ABSOLUTELY BANG ON!

Oh, my bridge setter has no velcro, do i just use tape?

I'm worried about tear out when drilling the bridge holes, what do you guys do against this, bit of scrap against the bridge plate?

Yes using the "lite" version of the Bridge Setter requires tape

Thanks ken, that was the sort of thing I imagined.

Tore some slithers of spruce out when removing tape after shaping the bottom of the bridge on the top. Any tips, apart from warning the tape before removing it?

Cheers all.
