Very nice Tony, that's how I rout my wood rosettes now for the purflings too, works great.
Can you use the other top for another rosette?

I'm not sure but I could not "fix" the other top in a way that I would be proud of so I can't give it to the winner like that.

I've never routed a soundboard for a rosette but now I know how I'm going to do it.

Looks Great Tony!!!!

George,
My router base is very expensive. Money solves all problems. My rosettes were not perfectly tight when I used a dremel, but they are tighter than a frog's butt!
I started gluing the X-brace, but then the Inspector woke up and decided to check on my progress. He pretty much put an end to all the progress. But I did get one leg glued.

That is quite some router base. I'd love to 'visit' the vendor. Is there a web site I can go and look at? Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken, that's the Bishop Cochran base. Pricey for sure, but it looks like a nicely machined accessory.

Tony, do you have a matching onesie to go with your inspector's? Was it because he interrupted you that you glued his leg?
