I agree. I am an engineer by trade and tend to think that way. Simonyi developed a more intuitive model and built guitars with that model of how sound propagates through a top. Sure I can point out how his physics are wrong, but he makes way better guitars than I do. His intuitive model allows him to build with consistency with outstanding results. So I will not knock it.
