I bought a few boxes of the original mask in this thread and agree they are thick and can get a little hot. I sure don't have any coughing or sneezing, even after a heavy sanding operation, when I wear one, though, so I'm inclined to stick with the remaining ones I do have.

I just saw those advertised for the first time. I may have to try one when sanding. Think I'll stick to my other mask for spraying.

Oh yes - for sure use a chemical/organic respirator when spraying finish coating -- these in no way are intended for use other then dust protection.
