i would like to know a little bit more about the thickness sander you built. Are you using the table saw motor to power it? Is the design in your head or do you have some plans for it?

I built from the woodgear plan. I bought a motor and pillow blocks from Surpluscenter.com. Bought the shaft from Amazon. You just have to be careful as its manual feed. Don't try to take off very much each pass.
