I get mine at either Lowes or our local hardware store both have the course inserts in the specialty drawers.

This is all they had at HDepot - same specs as the threaded one, but this is pounded in and THEN tightened.

Probably not good?

Explanation - I did buy a cordless hammer from HF, just in case a pounding becomes necessary..

What size hold is drilled for, say, a 25/64 (.37") diameter insert?
