So, finding a case for a Tenor Guitar is a little harder than expected. Off to the shed and now a case/road case is born.

Most excellent!

That case project would have been a good one for the construction log section -- maybe next time?

My Tenor guitar is in the finishing fase. I'm thinking about the setup. Has a tenor guitar have a guitar like setup (action and relief)?
BTW: What compensation did you use ? (2,5 mm/0,1"?)

Hi Herman,

The action and relief are very similar to a steel string guitar setup. The action at the 12th fret is just under 2mm. For the compensation I used the stewmac saddlematic and used the same angle as for my steel strings. Seems to be pretty good. I am still getting used to the different fingering for chords etc and finding I need to use less finger pressure than on a 6 string. I can measure the compensation if you'd like, to be more accurate.

Hope you put up some pics of our build.

Martin

Excuse the rudimentary playing but I finally did a recording of this Tenor. Give a man GarageBand and anything is possible! The link is an mp3.
