Thanks, - I've been struggling for months on how to do this to the neck of my personal guitar. The other two that I built are perfect.

At one time Taylor did not have a tenon, just a simple butt joint -- super simple to pitch the neck back away from the sound board with a little sanding -- actually worth thinking about as a joint option.
