Ok, after taking some time off to build a deck for my wife (happy wife = happy life), some fishing and a few social obligations I'm back working on my guitar. I got the rosette done today. I used a scraper this time to avoid the black wood contamination problem I encountered with my first guitar.

Tonight I got the bridge plate and X-braces glued up. This shot shows a dry run before following Ken's instruction. I amazed myself with very tight center brace notches. They turned out better than I hoped for.

Inside Shot. Note, this top is lightly braced with 1/4" bracing.
The back gets glued on today. Then I'll see if I can bend the Herringbone binding.

Nice and clean work. I use 1/4" braces almost exclusively now.
