So I'm skipping a head a few steps in my documentation - don't worry I'll go back and cover how I made a set of bridge slotting tools today - but I had to share this:

I made the nut, and roughed in a saddle this evening and got the 00-12 strung up. In just an hour of playing it has really opened up. Absolutely amazes me that a first guitar can sound this good.

After it settles into the tension of the stings I'll do a more final set up - relief, and 12th fret action.

Ken, thank you again for helping make all this possible. The KMG kits, instructions, this forum, and generous forum members - couldn't have done this on my own. Huge thanks to you all.

I'll try to get some good audio/video later this week.

Great work, and really nice photos. I love the lighting on the tuners and on the top.

We did a little photo shoot this afternoon with one of my good friends - a more accomplished player than myself. Hopefully I'll have a little video to share soon...

I'll post a couple of short audio/video clips we shot with a 5D mkII and a little on-board mic. Nothing fancy, but hopefully you'll enjoy.
