Herman;I just went to Walmart about four blocks from the house. If I wasn't local and know all the gimmicks I'd still be sitting in traffic as all the Bonnarooers are headed home. Yes I'm able to get a little service today. Before you couldn't even send a text msg 2 miles away. Once about seven years ago I had my wife take me to work and I rode my bicycle home. Now I know in other countries bicycles are a form of transportation. Not so much here. But I was able to ride on the shoulders of the road facing traffic etc. Glad I'm retired. Plus I'm not healthy enough for a bike anymore. My poor wife has to put in 12 hrs today. I'm glad Ken asked what was up with this thread as I had been meaning to resurrect it. But you know how it is. Lol
