Slight gap...is this a problem?

Solid or Laminated sides? Ribbon lining style (kerfing) - rim profiling, contouring and the logic for those choices

Hi Tony,

I definitely thought of that as well. I will measure the exact depth but I believe
it's a couple 16ths shy of 4". Since, i haven't ordered the neck yet I was afraid
if I sanded too much then it would compromise the geometry of the angle and
God knows what else.

Anyway, thank you for the input and I will consider cutting the heel next time....
