I've said it before, and I'll say it again. That wood is awesome. Looks like a landscape. The side purfling is elegant and works perfectly with the bindings and sides to bring it all together.
Edit - I meant to ask if you need to zpoxy that?

This is a fantastic build IMHO...for the reason, AND the gorgeous workmanship..you should be VERY proud Tony...if only you we're nice to others...especially Dave and ME! But..you can't have it all...so this wonderful guitar will just have to do!

The look on this Man's face when he see's it finished for the first time will be very rewarding I'm sure!

Dave, Yes, I will be pore filling with Z-poxy. First I need to fit the neck.

Ray, I had a conversation with the future owner today and after some prodding, he finally told me something HE wants done. His initials on the first fret. Everything I have done so far, I have suggested to him and he says yes. He admitted he doesn't want to make the build harder for me so he has remained silent. I said it is YOUR guitar! Tell me what YOU want! Needless to say, I will be adding his initials to the first fret. Though I may try to talk him out of that in favor of the 12th fret. He wants position markers on the fret board too, so I don't want it to look bad. I will need to do a mock up or something.

Thanks Ken H. I really love ziricote and I am glad he picked it or I may have never gotten to it! It is a messy wood to sand though. The dust is black and really seems fond of the sound board. Good thing I sealed it!!
