Beautiful Job. Love the look of redwood/ Bubinga combo. What type of wood are the bindings? Thanks Jack.

Thanks, The binding are Cocobolo with a white fiber purfling. I was sort of going with red to tie everything together.

Tony, thanks for your kind comments.

As always John, great looks because of great skills. Stunning Bubinga. Sorry about no backstrip (LOL).

So you number your guitars from now on too? Don't hit a number bottom up! It's an ungggely repair. Ask me how I know!

I forgot to mention the excellent, excellent job you did book matching the back. Whenever I get a match so close, I don't want to use a back strip. You gots to let the wood do the talking and this one says, "Look at me. Touch me. Loooove me." Or something like that. I don't know for sure because I don't speak wood, but I do know that I like what I see.

Don't tell anyone, but I avoid the center strip because I have had trouble with it in the past :0. When gluing it on full depth I ran into trouble with the tape method (I now use a joining jig) when I tried to route a center strip for inlay on an earlier guitar my guide was not set right, ... ultimately I had enough room to plane it off and just glue the plates. With this guitar I did deliberately decide to join the plates because I liked the match.
