I was showing a student how to do it, got almost all the way around to the end block before it dawned on me I was not using the radiused side of the bar. Close call. But really a clever way to get the perfect profile!

And here it is with the back radiused. I had a couple lumps to smooth out on the cutaway side and I got the blocks a little more proud of the sides than I should have (I wanted extra in case I needed it, turn out I really didn't) but all-in-all I think it looks great.

So Ken, when I flip it over in the mold is there any tricks to not having to change the cutaway from one side to the other? I know I'll have to this time but should I make a cutaway insert and just set the profile to a non-cutaway?

Get the kerfing installed to stiffen up rim -- then you can flip it, you then need to capture the neck block so it in the proper alignment with the TB, as seen here:
