I tried finding something specific to a schedule for Watco spray finish, but haven't had luck.
If it's like the other nitro type finishes, I'm reading about a week or 10 days after the last coat to start sanding thru the grits.
Is this correct?
Thanks,
Bob

I don't know about anyone else but when I spray Nitro I wait 3-4 weeks.

Seven to ten days, -- I asked Preston Thompson and he indicated about a week. On the other hand I've read comments that waiting too long makes leveling and polishing more difficult, but I doubt that really is an issue.

If the lacquer smell is still pretty strong, the finish may still be soft enough to pick up the texture of the surface you place it on to sand. I learned this the hard way!
Re: Watco spray cans - how long a wait?
Looking through the shedules from the chemical manufactures (several posted here) seems like a week will do -- some say seven to ten days before final.
To your question -- the Watco is going to dry at the same rate as other lacquers the solvents are what's common. Now I see a comment relative to "going through the grits" hopefully you have been leveling with 600 grit, that is where you start for final leveling and polishing using abrasive that is more course is only going to add extra work and introduce "new" scratches.
