I know I see Tony's finishes (and now Jacks) and I wonder WHY am I spraying?????

Thank you all for the compliments and the help and support you all have provided. I did a combination of brushing and spraying. I went with the brushed on Deft to start out after pore filling with Zpoxy. Here is what I did:
1. Brushed on 3 coats of deft brushing laquer thinned with 10 percent thinner as per Tony's video( coated Whole guitar at once) 1 coat every two days.
2. Level sanded after two days with 400 grit wet /with a couple drops dish detergent in water, and sanded through in a spot or two by mistake.
3. brushed over the spots where sanded through.let dry another day.
4.Wet sanded with 800 wet with water /detergent.
5. Got discouraged with the brushing (because I was in a hurry) and switched to rattle can Deft gloss (locally available).
6. Sprayed glossy 3- 4 coats (two per day -two hours apart) of Deft rattle can clear. Let dry 1 DAY.
7.Wet sanded level with 800 grit wet paper (water dishwashing /detergent) It was really pretty decent and smooth by now but still could see some of the brushing ridges.
8. Sprayed 4 more coats 2 per day over the next two days.
9. Let dry in house for 9 days.
10. I used about 3 1/2 cans total of the spray on Deft Gloss clear rattle can stuff Plus the 3 brushed on coats I originally put on.
11 .Wet sanded with 800 to flatten, then went right to the micro mesh black pad, and worked through the next 4 grits of micro mesh (wet sanded with water and a few drops of dish detergent).
12. let sit over night and buffed with an air powered mini buffer with 3 1/2'' wool bonnet using white automotive liqiud buffing compound.
13. Switched to a gray foam buffing pad on the buffer and buffed with automotive (blue liquid) extra fine polishing compound.
14 Applied a coat of Mothers Gold automotive Carnuba paste wax.
15. Total time to buff 1 -1/2 hours
Its not a perfect finish it has some waves in it but its decent and ity polished to a beautiful luster.
I have thank Tony and Ken for their guidance, Tony is the Master at the Brushed on Nitro Finish.I don't know how he does it ,he must me very patient!!!
My next one will be all spray for the finish, The brushing laquer works good and goes on thick but it is alot of work to flatten out. I have alot experience with automotive spray equipment shooting race cars and motorcycles and model R/C Jets and I am more at home spraying my finishes.
I tend to get moving on a project and don't have the patience to slow down. The rattle cans are great as there is no clean up involved and the overspray in the shop wasn't bad at all. I couldn't have used my spray gun in the shop ,too much overspray and fumes. I spray outside when its warmer out. Thanks again , hope this answers your questions, Jack.

I have a lot of patience when it comes to the finish. Thanks for sharing the details Jack. Leveling the brushed lacquer was very time consuming in the finishing process for me too, as I probably used too high a grit for fear of sanding through. On another thread you had asked if I prefer the wipe-on poly (which I used on my first KMG build) to the lacquer, and to be honest for me the poly was a lot less work, but then again since I've used it on many furniture projects I know how to thin it, apply it, cure it, etc. Since the brush-on lacquer was my first experience with lacquering anything, I'm sure that as I gather some info and learn from the experts here and then practice, lacquer will be just as easy for me to apply. The reason that I chose the brushing lacquer was because I couldn't buy the Deft rattle cans locally but I've since found a source. So as the weather warms up and out-door spraying becomes feasible, that's another option.

Well number 1 is done! Two weeks ahead of schedule (gift) . It came out better than I expected and the sound is beautiful. Pictures below:
