Dave is correct. It is the Bishop-Cochran router base. I absolutely love it. You can micro-adjust the depth, and radius, and lock them in place. You can also set a depth stop for the plunge so that you can take multiple passes to reach your desired depth, and not worry about going too deep. It is a great tool and my rosettes are better because of it. Plus, I only have two expensive tools in my shop, my drum sander, and this router base, so I have not spent a fortune on tools....yet. Wood, on the other hand, I have spent a fortune on!

I glued the second leg of the x-brace tonight. Here is a pic because nobody knows what that process looks like:

Tony, do you have a matching onesie to go with your inspector's? Was it because he interrupted you that you glued his leg?
Dave...I glued my own leg inside of my matching feety pajamas. I was distracted by my son's cuteness. It happens a lot.

I forgot to mention that I am using hide glue for this build because, as everyone knows, it makes your guitars sound better. For evidence of my hide glue usage, please refer to the photographic proof below:

And to top it all off you splurged and went for the "professional" grade glue. No amateur glue on those guitars.

Yes. I don't cut costs. Costa Guitars is a big budget operation. $50 is a big budget, right?
On the actual work:
I have almost all of the bracing done on this guitar. I hope to get the box closed up soon. Here is a shot of the back plate with it's braces. No center strip yet though. Though I would do it the hard way this time and do it last.
