Red Oak

I cannot believe I don't have a picture of the Red Oak KMG 000 kit in its completed form. Here is one pic I do have, I will try to find where I put the others.

Here's a link to one of my students, Eric, noodling around on the red oak - just the teensy little microphone built into my little camera, and the crappy tuners would not hold it in tune, but it gives you an idea of the sound. In person it is a monster and I will use Red Oak every time I get a chance. I love the sound.
edit - here's the youtube link.

Looks great, sounds great! Goes to show that you don't have to wipe out the rain forests to have materials for a fine guitars. I'll be spec(ualtion) kitting both Red and White Oak I think I'll lean toward the Gibson styles so guys/gals can have something really unique.
