Spendy at $139. But the design looks good and useful.
Any opinions - maybe a better idea?

I have one and use it all of the time. I really like it. I have seen cheaper versions of the same vice.

I know they are two different animals, but the shop fox parrot vise gets some good reviews as well. Which do you use most, John?

I have 2 parrots and some angled corked jaw inserts to handle tapers. They work great and you can flip them around for vertical or horizontal clamping.deadedith wrote:I know they are two different animals, but the shop fox parrot vise gets some good reviews as well. Which do you use most, John?

Tim, do the jaws have to be lined with leather or otherwise modified?
