Is this a good vise?

Spendy at $139. But the design looks good and useful.
Any opinions - maybe a better idea?

I have one and use it all of the time. I really like it. I have seen cheaper versions of the same vice.

I know they are two different animals, but the shop fox parrot vise gets some good reviews as well. Which do you use most, John?

I have 2 parrots and some angled corked jaw inserts to handle tapers. They work great and you can flip them around for vertical or horizontal clamping.
