Wow, my cool factor just went up by another five points! (I really do like the fish glue though, easily reversible, don't ask how I know)

Dang, I have wondered why I'm having so much trouble selling my guitars, I will begin lying right away and tell potential customers my guitars are put together with chewing......uh, I mean Hide Glue.

I used the basswood reverse rounded linings on the size 00 I'm currently building. I particularly like the contrast with the EIR. So easy to work with.

i used the reversed basswood kerfings a few times and there is no spectacular things to say. They work nice and look good. No smelly issues here.

About the cool thing. I don't mention the glue odor. I tell the ignorants I put them together with love and patience. Works very well with the female audience.
